Ceramics by Mane Brutents
“Brutents” is my ancestor’s surname. They were ceramicists in city of Goris (Syunik, Armenia) for centuries. “Brut” in armenian means potter, and the surname “Brut + ents” was likely formed to highlight their connection to their craft.
Perhaps my passion for ceramics is connected with my ancestors, perhaps it is not. What I do know for sure is that I’m engaged in work I love, that is why it exudes soul and beauty.
