About us

Brutents Ceramics is a handcrafted ceramics brand founded in 2017 by Mané Brutents. Born and raised in the picturesque town of Goris, Armenia, Mané developed a deep connection to her cultural roots from an early age. She later moved to Moscow to study Interior Design and, after completing her bachelor’s degree, pursued her passion for ceramics at the Stroganov Academy of Art and Design.

It was during her time at the academy that the concept for Brutents Ceramics was born — a vision of contemporary, minimalist Armenian ceramics inspired by heritage and poetry. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, Mané began creating pieces that carried the spirit and soul of Armenia, often inscribed with verses by Armenian poets.

What started as a one-woman endeavor gradually grew into a flourishing creative studio. After returning to Yerevan, Mané opened a larger workshop and began building a team. Today, Brutents Ceramics is powered by a talented group of five passionate women, each contributing their artistry and dedication to every handmade piece.

Together, they create ceramics that are not just functional objects, but expressions of Armenian strength, culture, and timeless beauty.

Today, Mane’s work is recognized both in Armenia and internationally. She is a resident artist at Studio Pottery London and showcases her pieces at the V-Zug gallery on Wigmore Street in central London. Her participation in the annual London Craft Week allows her to present modern Armenian ceramics to a wider global audience, highlighting the richness of Armenian culture through contemporary design.
